The Office of State Budget and Management (OSBM) maintains on-line
transaction systems for preparing the Governor's
recommended budget, certifying the General Assembly's approved
budget, making authorized changes to the budget, allotting the
budget, and monitoring
annual salary obligations. This web interface to those systems
provides the same functionality as the mainframe applications.
Some applications execute in the mainframe operating environment and
some in a UNIX environment.
Access to these systems requires a security code and password,
obtained through the agency budget officer or through the technical
staff at OSBM. The logon screen asks for a 'user name'. This is the
RACF ID used for all systems on the mainframe computer and not
the ID used for the local PC network.
